My business uses this program in conjunction with the CAS Scale we have. I honestly don't know what's worse: The software itself, or the notion that it would be a good idea to distribute. The manual is useless outside maybe helping to get your computer connected to the scale. There are menu options that are inaccessible for absolutely no reason. Options that would be totally helpful, you know, like printing. Want to export your messages/ingredients to Excel? Sorry, that one's greyed, too. Importing is fine, but if you can't export to Excel, how are you supposed to figure out the spreadsheet formatting to import it? Had to figure that one out myself. This software isn't even made for people who know how to use computers well. The manual is just a bunch of definitions, pictures that explain nothing, and vague instructions. Tech support was equally useless. They told me they had never been able to make the software connect to the scale if the computer was running QuickBooks. Well, it worked fine for me. I'm not bragging, either. The software is just garbage, and it's so confusing that I'm not surprised even the company who made it couldn't figure the damn thing out. It's probably why the manual is so vague. How can you make instructions for something that doesn't even have full functionality? Did the programmers just dip out when they were done? Was it just one guy? An intern? Give me some better software. Or let me write a new manual. I don't know why the manual they have is so confusing.

Thank you for your remarks. I'm trying to figure this out and I was starting to think I woke up stupid. The manual is truly incomprehensible. How did you get the computer to link with the scale? Whenever I try to do what I think the manual is telling me to do it makes the software crash and shut down.
